Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of company secretarial liaising for regional entities located in Asia Pacific to ensure the statutory requirement are complied.
- Establish proper SOP in maintaining the entities statutory books and records in compliance with laws and regulatory requirements by the local authority
- Implementing internal governance guideline
- Support and enhance regional legal management regime and litigation matters by collaborating closely with local legal advisor.
- Work closely with internal and external customers concerning service issues
- Supervise the execution of corrective action meets customers specifications.
- Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.
- Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to service FIRST
- Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers corrective action reports or any other reports as request by the Management.
- Facility management for the regional entities, including lease renewal.
- Review and advice on contracts and agreements
- Handle disputes, litigations or arbitrations collaborating with external law firms
- Handle, coordinate and communicate with the Company Secretary on corporate secretarial matters (e.g. the minutes of directors meeting)
- Support compliance activities in South East Asia
- Be the legal & compliance evangelist for legal trainings for business entities in all countries
- In-charge and manage strategic and high confidential matters such as M&A, buy-in, fund-raising and other strategic matters.
- Any other projects or tasks as and when required
