Talentvis is a Singapore based HR Solutions company with an Asia Pacific focus, currently operating in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan. To support our growth, we are currently looking for a strong candidate with a positive attitude to join us as Merchant Acquisition Lead. You will direct report to Commercial Manager / General Manager. Merchant Acquisition Lead role includes the following responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and oversee the daily activity of Merchant Acquisition team, ensuring that the tasks are being undertaken efficiently with a high level of professionalism
  • Design and implement strategies to reach out to potential merchants with innovative methods to attract merchants to the platform
  • Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate the trends including brand/product awareness
  • Identifying business opportunities through market development, customer prospecting, and sales pitching
  • Assisting merchants in end-to-end cooperation process, such as create proposals, negotiation, execution, and after sales
  • Achieve the KPI or target given including but not limited to cold call and merchant meeting
  • Understand merchant requirements, provide consultation and solutions based on their needs
  • Drive the implementation of acquiring product enhancements and new merchant’s product rollouts
  • Monitor, analyze, and report merchant’s transaction and sales volume
  • Provide insights based on data-driven findings to enhance acquisition efforts and improve conversion rates
  • Maintain long-term relationship with existing merchants or partners
  • Expand business network through events, expo, workshop, exhibition, gathering, career fair, etc.
  • Continuously collect feedback from merchants for enhancement
  • Work closely with Employer Engagement, Operations Excellence, Product, and Tech team to streamline merchant onboarding process
  • Liaise with Legal and other departments to ensure smooth operations of the whole business
  • Co-work and be involved to deepen clients’ relationship through referral between business unit
  • All ad-hoc assignments given by Commercial Manager / General Manager


Requirements:

  • Experience min. of 3 years as Merchant Acquisition or similar role in e-commerce preferred
  • Passionate about target or sales
  • Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Excellent communication, strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Target driven, result oriented, resilient, ambitious, and able to handle high pressure
  • Desire to self-learning, improvement, and career growth
  • Bubbly and outgoing personality
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
