Job Description
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and analytical
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise preparation and review of finance and accounting overall functions, including cash flow management as part of Finance day-to-day operations, communication of issues and opportunities to management.
- Review journal entries and reconciliations, ensure monthly closing procedures are done accurately.
- Responsible for monthly management reporting and presentations with emphasis on detailed commentary on variances, investigate unusual variances leading to understanding and resolution of issues.
- Assist in liaison with external auditors to finalize the annual audit and ensure the statutory accounts are promptly submitted to Company Secretary for filing to SSM.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties such as bankers, tax agent and company secretary on all treasury, statutory and compliance matters.
- Active involvement and provide support for operation’s needs.
- Ensure applicable policies are followed through in the company.
- Identify and drive process improvements, ensure compliance to internal control policies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead a team of finance executives in ensuring all finance related work are done in an effective and timely manner
- Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required by the management team.
