The term talent acquisition is often used interchangeably with recruiting. But are they really the same?

Recruiting is actually considered as a subset of talent acquisition, and includes the activities of sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, selecting, and hiring. While talent acquisitions might include all these recruiting purposes, and some more such as follows:
