This initiation is carried out through its subsidiary PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika (MII) which oversees the Metrodata Academy program as a forum to support the education sector in Indonesia. It shows the appointment of the Metrodata Academy by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in the ‘Kampus Merdeka’ (Merdeka Campus) program.

Kampus Merdeka

Designed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, ‘Kampus Merdeka’ aims to accommodate students’ skills development. The program will be conducted at campuses and for professional partners. Metrodata Academy is set to launch two programs, which are Internship/Work Practice program and Study/Independent Project program. One of the activities for ‘Kampus Merdeka’ is Cyber Security’, in collaboration with the EC Council, namely Certified Network Defender (CND) and Certified Incident Handler (ECIH).

As digital transformation has increased the need for digital security, the company is ready to prepare digital talents in the cyber security field. There are four roles for the internship program: Business Analyst, Developer, Quality Assurance, and System Analyst. It is expected that the company can help students develop their professional talents. Students who are interested in joining this program can register through ‘Kampus Merdeka’ website.
