International Collaboration for Future IT Talents
As explained by Herryanti Herman, the Director of MII, Metrodata is honoured to be selected for ‘Kampus Merdeka’ program and is committed to actively participate in the fulfilment of National talents. With the collaboration of the Government, Universities, and corporations, the skills gap between the world of education and industry can be closed. Metrodata Academy is strongly supported by many global brands, such as Microsoft, Oracle, EC-Council, Red Hat, CompTIA, and many more. This provides a choice of international standard certifications. One of the activities for ‘Kampus Merdeka’ is Cyber Security’, in collaboration with the EC Council, namely Certified Network Defender (CND) and Certified Incident Handler (ECIH).
As digital transformation has increased the need for digital security, the company is ready to prepare digital talents in the cyber security field. There are four roles for the internship program: Business Analyst, Developer, Quality Assurance, and System Analyst. It is expected that the company can help students develop their professional talents. Students who are interested in joining this program can register through ‘Kampus Merdeka’ website.
Prior to the ‘Kampus Merdeka’ program, Metrodata Academy has had similar programs, such as Metrodata Training, Metrodata Teaching, Metrodata IT Camp, and Metrodata Internship. Metrodata Academy provides hundreds of training, certifications, and modules. This series of programs is intended for those outside ‘Kampus Merdeka’ targets, such as professionals, business users, customers, academics, and anyone who wants to develop themselves in digital literacy. In collaboration with Universities, Metrodata Academy provides training as well as special certifications for active students. Moreover, students are eligible for the International standard certification program and Certificate of Companion for Diploma (SKPI). Having these considerations, Metrodata Academy is ready to fully support digital talents in becoming IT experts who can compete on a global level.
